Contract of the Century 20 years - Silver

The agreement known as “Contract of the Century” – one of the most significant events in the history of independent Azerbaijan – was signed under the leadership of the national leader Heydar Aliyev in “Gulustan” palace on September 20, 1994.
Given the international reputation of the project and its importance for the country, the Central Bank of Azerbaijan issued into circulation high caliber silver commemorative coins dedicated to the relevant topic.
The commemorative coins were minted at the “Royal Mint” of Great Britain.
The face of the coin depicts the portrait of the national leader of Azerbaijan Heydar Aliyev, and oil derricks, the back presents the national emblem of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
