The Central Bank issued silver commemorative coins with the nominal value of 5 manats, dedicated to the 20th anniversary (1992-2012) of the Central Bank of the Republic of Azerbaijan , into circulation in 2012.
The commemorative coins were minted at the “Austrian Mint” of Austria.
The face of the coin depicts a stylistic view reflecting 20 years, on which the words ’1992-2012’ and ‘The Central Bank of the Republic of Azerbaijan’ are presented, the back presents the image of the Coat of Arms of the Republic of Azerbaijan. The words “The Republic of Azerbaijan” and the nominal of the coin are depicted around the emblem.
The commemorative coin is a legal tender in the territory of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
